Liz has been a nurse for more than 40 years with the majority of her latter career in leadership positions in global health. She has mentored and guided many nurse leaders into next steps in their careers.
Nurses and midwives represent half of the world’s healthcare workforce yet are under-represented in leadership positions, both formally and informally. Liz’s work with leadership development addresses this critically important problem with practical solutions and guidance.
She was recognized in 2021 as one of the top 100 Women in Global Health and is a Fellow Ad Eundem with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. In addition, she is a certified Global Nursing Consultant and a certified association executive from the American Society of Association Executives.
